Ingestics Support

Two channels, depending on your edition.

Free edition — WordPress.org forum

Using Ingestics Free? Post in the WordPress.org support forum. We monitor it and answer there so solutions stay public for the next person. Include your WordPress version, the provider type (API or RSS), and what the Activity Log shows.

Premium licenses — email support

Lite, Pro, and Business customers get direct email support: support@autoapiwp.com. Send your license email address, plugin version, and the relevant Activity Log lines or Call Inspector output (secrets are masked automatically). Billing, invoices, and license changes are self-serve in the customer portal; refunds follow the refund policy.

Before you write in

Most issues are answered in the documentation — especially the getting-started walkthrough and the full reference. Task-specific tutorials live in Guides.

Frequently asked questions

Posts are not being published automatically — what should I check?
Scheduled fetching starts in Lite; Free is manual fetch. On Lite+, confirm the provider is enabled and scheduled, then read the Activity Log for the last run’s result.
The Call Inspector shows a 401 or 403 error — what does it mean?
The API rejected your credentials. Re-check the auth mode (API key, Bearer, Basic, or OAuth2 on Lite+/Pro), the key value, and any required headers.
Why are duplicate posts appearing?
Check that duplicate detection is enabled for the provider. Pro’s sync engine can also match existing posts by source URL, external ID, title, slug, or custom meta and update instead of re-creating.
Images are not attaching to posts — why?
Confirm featured-image sideloading is enabled for the provider and that the source actually returns an image field mapped in your field mapping.
My paid plan is not syncing — what do I do?
License activation runs through Freemius. Verify the license in the plugin’s Account screen and in the customer portal; if it still fails, email support with your license email.
Will I lose content if I deactivate or uninstall?
No. Cleanup removes operational data like queues and locks but preserves your configuration, credentials, logs, import sources, and all imported posts.
